Integrative Psychotherapy
What is it?
Integrative Psychotherapy focuses on utilising a combination of evidence-based modalities in collaboration with your individual needs to create a therapeutic approach that is unique to you.
In other words, it designed to allow you the freedom to be yourself without having to follow a set system or place yourself into a "box".
What sort of modalities are used?
Modalities such as:
Cognitive and behavioural psychology, somatic therapy, attachment-based, trauma-informed, creative, mindfulness, and person-centred therapies.
How does it work?
The time is taken to understand you as a person and then tailor the therapy to your individual needs, personality, goals, capacities and life experiences.
This will involve exploring your current concerns, values, history, relationships, routine, goals, emotional patterns and strengths.
Of course, this is completely guided by you and have no obligation to talk about anything you do not wish to.
As therapy progresses, the approach changes too. Early sessions might focus on reducing distress, while later sessions may shift toward self-understanding, personal growth, and minimising future difficulties.
How can it help?
